At Owley Farm in the heart of the Kentish Weald, Moons Green brings together traditional charcuterie skills and a spirit of invention. From our original Beer Stick to more than 20 varieties of saucisson, we make British charcuterie by hand, using British ingredients at every opportunity.

Founded by John Doig and developed alongside Ian Jones, Moons Green is built on a love of good food and the craft of making it. Following John’s retirement, Managing Director Ian Jones and fellow director Warren Mar now lead the business, working with our dedicated team to carry that heritage forward.

Surrounded by some of the country’s finest livestock farms, we source high-quality free-range meat to create our own interpretations of European classics, including prosciutto, loma, coppa, bresaola and chorizo. Whether you’re putting together a sharing board or enjoying a Beer Stick on the go, the same care and craftsmanship go into every bite.

Moons Green ‘Nduja

The great Calabrian speciality Nduja usually weighs in at about 80% fat. So we made two changes to create our recipe for this famous spreading salami. First we cut the fat to 15%. Then we added both fresh and dried chillies to give you a spicy ride that will light up your world. 

Air-dried Ham

At last an English air-dried ham to rival the European stars. Aged for 18-months, it’s a sublime flavour to savour.

Venison and Sour Cherry Saucisson

The singular winter saucisson. With local venison from our gamekeeper friends, tempered with the bittersweet succulence of sour cherries and studded with pistachios.
